Well , promises promises .
This is a nicely specked out camera I will say , easy to use
functions , lots of accessories , the driver disc unfortunately
, is a blank plastic disk .
Yeah ! , looks like a CD , printed out like a CD , even sais
driver and disc on the piece of round plastic [ that's all it is
, a round bit of plastic with writing on it ]
Anyhow , sometimes the computer can access the Mini DV and other
times not , bit of hit and miss in that regard ..
Also the battery was not much chop , by that I mean it wont hold a charge
, your lucky to get maybe 2 minutes of video before it runs out
of steam , it does work though , just not as well as expected
unfortunately .
Now I did mount mine to a 450 electric helicopter (RC) as I am interested
in trying aerial photography or video-ography as the case may be
. And the camera hates it , way to much vibration for it to deal
with , even when the camera was wrapped in foam .
At this time [ due to the battery issue ] I will have to put this aside
for another day , perhaps it will make for a nice mod host [ new
battery and possibly some re engineering and the possible loss
of its body ] Will see how things go .
Now while the camera is still , [ not moving ] it takes decent
video , with decent color rendition , so for other uses , this
could be a decent little performer , unfortunately for me , with
a dud battery , I didn't get to do much of anything except verify
its not much good for heli video ..
Hmmm so in a nutshell ..
Decent color rendition
Works [ Camera ]
Battery = BAD very Bad !
Drivers = What drivers ?
Instruction manual = The Chinese really , badly , urgently ,
need ENGLISH speaking people to proof read manuals .
In this case the negatives out weigh the positives , and I give
this one the thumbs down [ this Camera from my retailer =
fashion_wholesale on Ebay . ]
